Fun in D.C

Ok, I will give a new post so you don't have to look upon that monstrocity of a man. This last week I was in DC with my lady for our annual trekky convention. One morning our smoke detector went off so I went to try to turn it off. At that point, a voice came from the alarm & directed us to evacuate the building because of a reported fire. I went to brush my teeth. Jessica reminded me that if there was truely a fire, I probably shouldnt brush my teeth first...I agreed. Anyway, we walked out of our room & there was this dude 3 or 4 doors down standing there absolutely drenched with a look of shock on his face. I hear what sounded like a heavy downpour coming from his room. It was. This guy ended up to be either german or austrian & had been smoking in his room (this was a smoking floor). Something happened & the sprinkler system was triggered. I looked in & it was something that you would seen in a movie. Water was flowing down the hall, the room was completely saturated with water & this german dude was freaking out. He then proceeded to light up a new cig in the hallway. That was pretty funny. The funnier part was the cleaning woman who was laughing the whole time. Note to self & all others, don't smoke.
