Cartoon Rage
I have been hearing about more & more widespread muslim rage. This time it is over a cartoon made by some dutch dudes. Buildings, embassys & flags are burning, lives are being threatened, muslims are roiting calling for the deaths of those who made the cartoon and the list goes on. I saw one sign that said, "learn from 9/11." I thought to myself, all this over a cartoon? How many times has Jesus been dragged through the mud? The real question is, would the world reaction, or at least the US media reaction be different if it was Christians rioting & making death threats? Muslims get a free pass & it is bull crap.

bull fecal matter contains too much "substance" to accurately compare to what this is...instead I feel it more closely resembles the droppings of a chicken...
It's all so bizarre it really blows my mind. I know the world is messed up and blind to reality, but people's inability or unwillingness to see the irrationality of all this is way beyond reason.
This really sets me off, but since I already posted a diatribe on Den's blog I'll quit here.
It is almost like they look for reasons to flip out and flex their muscles because they know they will get what they want. It is suck. But remember John 16:2-4 and many other verses that say that this sort of behavior is expected. What is interesting is how they are taking this out on Christians.
So are you saying we should bomb them now?
I read an article today that said the Iranian papers are going to do cartoons depicting the Holocaust

I do kinda wish that Christians flipped out at least a little bit when Christ is made fun of - we are so lame.

By we you mean....? Israel is not a country to mess around with. Iran might do something really stupid in the next few days, weeks, or months that they might regret. The Iran paper is going to have a contest to see who can make the best Holocaust cartoon. Don't flip out, it is something that they will have to face after they blow themselves up.
i think that it speaks volumes that Christians don't flip out like this. we all know the Christians that do flip out over everything, and not even other Christians really want to be around them . . . er, um, Jerry Fallwell . . . *cough* Pat Robertson . . .
i think that the whole middle east could be treated much the same way we should take care of some our really bad inner cities.
all i'll say is that maybe we are just a little too concerned with stopping certain people from killing each other.

Interesting fact, yesterday I was reading something about the actual pictures that set this boat ablaze. It was like a article looking thing with 12 cartoons on it. Imams in Denmark took it offensivley and rushed to the Middle East to present these pictures to head Islam people or whatever. But!!! They didn't arive with 12 pictures, there were 15. And the 3 that were added inbetween Denmark and the Middle East were pretty bad, and they weren't cartoons. Hmmm
I think that the muslims are trying to "hi-jack" the front page to draw attention away from Iran and their chemistry skills.
